Why the Redwood Forest slideshow?

Judy had always loved trees, and in 2008 we spent some time among the California Redwoods. Some of the ingredients in Judy's chemo cocktail were derived from trees (not Redwoods but Yews). We always knew that Judy loved the trees, and the trees got their chance to repay her affection.

Good News!

We just received the great news that Judy's CA-125--the number of cancer markers--has finally dropped after slowly increasing for months. When Judy went in for some lab work on November 2, her CA-125 was 171; this Tuesday, taken right before her latest chemo, it was down to 131.

We know that these are just numbers, but even so we are encouraged by these news. Maybe the new meds are finally kicking in. We'll know more in a month or so, when the next test right before her next chemo will be performed.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Judy, this is great news! They may be "just numbers", but it's all we've got, and DOWN is the way we want them to go! Wish we were going to Palo Duro, but Doug's helping with the trail work at Lance's ranch, so we won't make it this year. Hope you have a great weekend, and keep us posted on those numbers. Take care...

Love and prayers... Judy and Doug

Alriiiiight! Way to fight! We are so happy that the # is going down, the meds are working. Now go have a relaxing T-giving and let someone else do all the cooking. We will be giving thanks for your spirit of fight, God's gift of your life and Dr. Benny's intelligence for destroying the cancer. We Love you! WayneLorane

Hi Judy!
Just stopping by to say "hi"!

The weather this past week has been great up here...of course, any day without snow/sleet/freezing rain-is a great day!

In a couple hrs I'm heading over to the local stable to take "Winnie" out for some exercise (a nice walk through the fields)...even though I have a ton of homework to complete-priorities!

Hugs,
Cindi
