Why the Redwood Forest slideshow?

Judy had always loved trees, and in 2008 we spent some time among the California Redwoods. Some of the ingredients in Judy's chemo cocktail were derived from trees (not Redwoods but Yews). We always knew that Judy loved the trees, and the trees got their chance to repay her affection.

CA-125 down to 11!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a super-fast update while I am in the San Francisco airport: Just got word from my dear JuJu that the Ca-125 is down to an UNBELIEVABLE 11 points before chemo #4, and all that after a six-week interval! She is kicking it, folks, she is kicking it as hard as she can. They told us the CA-125 would be up, and now she has done it again--one third of what it was beforehand, exactly like every other treatment. Oh, I can't tell you how I feel!!!!!!

Dear Judy & Jurgen,
I so love this news!!! Give that devil hell. You are both in my prayers at least three times a day.

I so miss seeing you! We are feeding up to 200 folks per Thursday at N2N!! Can you believe when you and Bill and I stood on the corner like circus hawkers calling folks in! It is so awesome.

Love you,
Becky Orem

Yeah Judy!!

I am a firm believer that all that fresh air in NM and riding your bike does just as much for you as that nasty chemo! So much of the success is in your attitude. Keep it up, you're doig great and we'll keep praying for you!

Love, Michelle

That is fabulous news! Though I've been remiss in checking in on you, you are in my thoughts constantly. Every morning when I log on, this blog in on my bookmark toolbar. I click and get to see news like this.

Judy, you are one tough, determined lady. I think those cancer cells are getting the message—no rules infractions on this course! DQ, DQ, DQ!

Hi Judy,
Just checking in before leaving the snow and cold for the warmth/greenery of the West Coast (I have the timeboard assignment for Tour of California). Not sure if I will have much internet time once I get there ...so before heading out just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Will talk to you when I get back!
Hugs!
